Within the framework of the Days of Azerbaijani Culture in the French city of Cannes, at the initiative and with support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, a concert by young jazzman Isfar Sarabski was arranged, July 11, at the Palace of Festivals and Congresses, in an open air. Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, as well as UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mehriban Aliyeva attended the concert. The concert by well-known jazz performer, Honoured Artist Isfar Sarabski bestowed good mood upon the residents and guests of the city of Cannes. Distinguished by its independence among the music genres, jazz music - independent, light, yet deep and meaningful - was performed in Cannes. This evening, by the presentation of this music, Azerbaijan became a hero of Cannes. Azerbaijan performed before the Parisian audience with hot-tempered Jazz compositions, bestowing them with a different mood. This evening, Jazz rhythms abiding by no rules and surrendering to only improvisations, dominated in the French capital. The performance by virtuosic performer Isfar Sarabski was met with great interest both by residents of Cannes and guests of the city.
