Azerbaijani Camp in Paris

On October 19, inauguration of the “Azerbaijani Camp” that was organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation on Saint Sulpice Square of Paris took place. Azerbaijan’s First Lady and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Mehriban Aliyeva, attended the ceremony.

The event continued with a concert by well-known jazz performer, Honoured Artist Isfar Sarabski. Jazz music - distinguished with its independence among the music genres, independent, yet profound and meaningful. This evening Azerbaijan became a hero of Paris due to this music. Azerbaijan performed before the Parisian audience with hot-tempered jazz compositions, bestowing them with a different mood. Jazz rhythms abiding by no rules and surrendering to only improvisations dominated in the French capital.
