Buta Festival creates unforgettable evening for Londoners

London hosted the grandiose opening ceremony of the second Buta Festival of Azerbaijani Arts on November 4, 2014.  Held under the slogan "Azerbai-WOW", the festival was attended by many people, who looked forward to plunge into the world of music.  In a gala concert held in the Royal Albert Hall the masterpieces of outstanding Azerbaijani composer Uzeir Hajibeyov, Fikrat Amirov touched the hearts of the guests.

Works of such talented national musicians as Isfar Sarabski, Soltan Hajibeyov, Azer Rzayev as well as Farkhad Badalbeyli were a great addition to the event. The performance of jazzman Shahin Novrasli was warmly welcomed. Worldwide known Andrea Bocelli created an unforgettable evening for the visitors. Compositions performed both with Azerbaijani musicians such as pianist Murad Huseynov and foreign players created an exciting atmosphere.

Head of Buta Art Center Nasib Piriyev noted that the festival is aimed to get acquainted the international society with Azerbaijani art and culture.

The first Buta Festival of Azerbaijan Arts was held in London from November 2009 to March 2010.
